Meggie helped me put together a plan to work through my room, which has looked like a bomb went off in it for some time. Now, thanks to her, I have almost completed the room and have a plan to keep it organized so it never goes back to what it was before. I feel like a weight has been lifted from me! So worth it!
When I opened my second business it became very clear that I wasn’t having the easiest time putting two businesses into my one home office. Enter Meggie and OLD. I have to say that when she told me the first task was to empty everything off every shelf and out of every nook and cranny I had a mini panick attack. I didn’t know how we would fit everything that was already there, along with all the things in boxes that needed to fit to back on the shelves. I have no idea how, but she worked her magic and not only did everything fit, it looked pretty on my open shelving! To top it off it was more functional than before. I consider myself a very type-a organized person, but Meggie put the cherry on top! I wouldn’t have the functional, beautiful office that I now have without her!
First of all, I'm a decently organized person myself-not the kind of gal who just shoves stuff wherever. Insert Miriam-the ultimate professional! She was very thorough before she even came out to help me. She asked questions that helped me prioritize my belongings without ever pushing me to keep or toss. The best part is that It has been about 9 months since she came and my kitchen looks exactly as it did when she left-the system is easy to maintain-even my husband can't mess it up!

Miriam helped us organize a storage closet. We were using it as an overflow food pantry and catch-all closet for rags, plastic bags, items to return, etc. Miriam was able to help us figure out what we wanted to keep in that space and get it organized in a sensible, easy-to-maintain way. She had great ideas, but never tried to override our desires. She was professional as she patiently helped us work through our stuff. We are excited and encouraged to have a well-organized storage closet—and we show it off often.
Over the Christmas holiday, Miriam organized my spice cabinet. Did it ever need it. Bottles were piled on top of one another and hard to get to in one small shelf. Miriam was a joy to work with. She was efficient and had great ideas that were simple, effective, and inexpensive. I can find my spices now, the bottles aren't falling out of the cabinet, and I can easily put them back where they belong. Almost a year and a half later, my spices are still organized in the same way--proof of an effective organization job!

1. Assessed our current filing / mail system. Built a plan that bridged where we were, to where we wanted to be. Got my husband and I to agree, and make a verbal contract on the maintenance plan.
2. Helped us go thru 80 pounds of paper to shred, trash or file.
3. Remained in contact post appointment to ensure we were staying on track and that the plan was working.
* Felt like 80 pounds had been lifted off my back (figuratively and literally). It's an addictive and empowering feeling. Will have her back next week to help with additional projects.
